The New Beginning Church of the Nazarene [map]

“Church” at The New Beginning is more than an hour-long program. In fact, we’re not interested in church programs, worship services, or spiritual events.  Instead, we’ve chosen to devote our time, resources, and energy toward a path.  It's a path built around a particular teaching of Jesus, who was once asked about the "greatest commandment" in the entire Bible. Jesus responded: 

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."  Matthew 22:36-39

We have organized all that we do around these core values.  So wherever you’re at, take a step! 

Welcome 2012: Our Next 30 Years

This past September our church celebrated our 30th anniversary. It was a fun season to look back and reflect on how far we've come.

During the month of January, we want to turn our attention ahead to our next ​30 years. More specifically, we want to be honest about the change that we're all sensing around us. It seems like, as Brooks Hatlen from the Shawshank Redemption said, "The world went and got itself in a big ol' hurry."

Have you noticed that church seems to have changed right alongside the world? Where are we going? What does the future of faith look like in our country? Or in Canton, Ohio? Join us for a month of asking deep, important questions, and wrestling with the answers together.

Service Times

Sunday Morning Worship: 9:45 AM. Children’s church and nursery are provided.

Sunday School for all ages follows our morning worship and concludes promptly at 12:10 PM.
